Leading Children Ltd, our consultancy and trading arm, has been operating for almost 10 years.  As directors, we, have over 60 years experience in education, working in school leadership (Kath as Head Teacher, Rachel as Deputy Head), as lecturers and a teachers.  We have worked in over 20 Local Education Authorities and have spanned all Early Years and KS1 age groups.

The ethos of our company is a belief in a child’s right to take a leadership role in their learning. The name ‘Leading Children’ has been selected because of its dual meaning that as practitioners we lead children, but more importantly we promote their right and ability to lead themselves and us in our shared learning journey.

We have led training and support programmes independently and on behalf of Early Excellence in over 20 Local Education Authorities.  We are passionate about making learning real, relevant and exciting for young children.  We are as equally passionate about supporting hard-working and treasured practitioners.

We can deliver a comprehensive range of training topics across Early Years and KS1 and are being asked increasingly to support KS2 and KS3/4 colleagues in Writing, Reading, Mindset and Creative, Connected Curriculums.
